A Sleigh Full of Stories

One of four anthologies we plan to publish for Christmas.​​

This is our first anthology intended for children.  We are inviting children aged 8 - 12 to contribute Christmas themed stories, to be enjoyed by other children (and hopefully grown-ups too!)

This will be a charity anthology with 10% going to a children's charity (Details TBC).

​

The book will be divided into five sections - one each for 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 year old writers.

About Your Story

​​

• The stories should be written by children, but obviously they may need a little help from parents or teachers.

• Each story should be 500 -1000 words

• The stories should be about Christmas or about aspects of Christmas

• Stories can be set in reality or they can be fantasy.  

• The author remains the copyright owner of their own story and they are free to publish it elsewhere. More details ​

There is no cost for you to submit a story and there is no cost if we choose it for publication.  As the parent or guardian of an author you will be able to buy as many copies as you like at half-price - ideal for Christmas gifts!

Formatting

​

• The stories should be sent to us in a Microsoft Word document or similar. 

​

Project Rules

​

• Only children aged 8-12 can contribute stories

• AI must not be used​

How the book will be sold

​

• The book will be sold primarily on Amazon.  

• You will have the option to buy as many copies as you like at half price if you choose, which you can resell or give away.​​

Money

​

• There is no cost to contribute and we do not pay for stories.  This is intended as a fun project for young writers.
