Mid Itch All.jpg

Welcome to Middle Itchenstoke. A picture-perfect English village where the hedges are neatly trimmed, the roses bloom, the church bells ring and everyone is, naturally, perfectly respectable. Or so they'd have you believe.

Volume 1 of The Middle Itchenstoke Series  - Perfectly Respectable People - is now on sale and we are now looking for submissions to volumes 2, 3 and 4, all for publication in 2027.   If you have already contributed a story to the first volume you are welcome to continue your character's journey or to create new characters.

New authors are welcome too!

Volume 1: Perfectly Respectable People

On Sale Now

Behind the net curtains and well-tended gardens, the villagers are keeping secrets, nursing grudges, falling in love, behaving badly and occasionally getting themselves into the sort of trouble that really ought to be kept out of the parish newsletter. This is a collection of funny, touching and sometimes surprisingly dark stories about village life, and the extraordinary things ordinary people get up to when they think nobody is looking. After all, in Middle Itchenstoke, appearances matter, and everyone has a reputation to maintain.
