Nobody knows exactly where Mortlake Manor is. There are no directions, no postcode and, on some days, perhaps no way back out. Then again, its residents are hardly ordinary either.

Welcome to Mortlake Manor - a retirement home where the rules of everyday life have a habit of bending. Behind its doors you’ll find ghosts and demons, impossible rooms, peculiar visitors, unexplained happenings and residents whose retirement plans extend rather further than most.

Inspired by the cult paranormal and mystery television shows of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, these ten stories take the familiar and give it a decidedly strange twist.

Sometimes funny, sometimes unsettling, sometimes poignant and frequently unexpected, each opens a different door into Mortlake Manor.

The rooms may change. The residents may change. Even the rules may change, but somehow, it is always The Twilight Home.
