Publish Your Work with Sonder

The Great Beyond
Due for publication in late summer 2026, "The Great Beyond" challenges authors to create a vision of the afterlife - not necessarily based on a traditional view of heaven, but something more imaginative.
This collection was inspired by a little-remembered 1980s sitcom called "Dead Ernest" in which heaven was portrayed as a mundane, bureaucratic, and distinctly middle-class afterlife that operated much like the Civil Service - full of committees, rules, forms and administration.
This is in no way intended as a religious book - it is an opportunity for authors to create an afterlife of their own, rather than base it on traditional views of heaven - in fact, your story may not even include anything like "heaven".
There is no cost for you to submit a story and there is no cost if we choose it for publication. As an author you will be able to buy as many copies as you like at half-price, enabling you to resell and make a profit.
